Learn moreDistilling brings spirit vapour, process heat and bonded warehousing, which is a genuinely demanding fire detection environment. Detector technology and zoning have to be designed for the area rather than applied uniformly, and bonded storage carries its own high-bay detection problem.
Former peat and energy infrastructure is being repurposed into new industrial and logistics use. A building that changes use changes its fire risk, and a detection design certified for the previous use is not automatically valid for the new one.
Tullamore carries regional healthcare. Those buildings run phased or progressive horizontal evacuation, where the cause and effect programming is the substance of the system rather than a detail.
Birr and the older town centres carry protected structures in active commercial use that cannot take intrusive cabling. Wireless and hybrid detection certifies to the same standard without damaging the fabric.
