ADS Group supplies, installs, services and certifies commercial fire fighting equipment: portable fire extinguishers to I.S. 291 and BS 5306, hose reels, and kitchen suppression systems for commercial kitchens. Servicing is scheduled, certificates are issued after each visit, and equipment can sit on the same maintenance agreement as your fire alarm and emergency lighting.

Frequently asked questions

How often do commercial fire extinguishers need to be serviced?
Portable extinguishers on commercial premises are serviced annually by a competent person, with additional extended service or refill intervals depending on extinguisher type. The occupier is also expected to carry out monthly visual checks.
What does a fire extinguisher service include?
The engineer checks location, signage, pressure, seals, hoses, weight and general condition, carries out the service required for that extinguisher type, and issues a certificate and updated schedule.
Do commercial kitchens need a suppression system?
Commercial cooking ranges and extraction canopies present a cooking oil risk that portable equipment alone does not address. We survey the kitchen and advise what is appropriate for that installation.
Can extinguisher servicing sit on the same contract as my fire alarm?
Yes. Fire fighting equipment, fire detection, emergency lighting, intruder alarms and CCTV can all be covered by a single maintenance agreement with one servicing schedule and one point of contact.
