Cause and effect has to match the building as it is used
Dublin buildings change use faster than their fire alarm drawings get updated. An office floor becomes a co-working space, a ground-floor unit becomes a restaurant, a storeroom becomes a server room. Each of those changes what should happen when a detector goes into alarm. We check the cause and effect against how the building is actually occupied, not against the drawing from the original fit-out, and we record the differences rather than quietly working around them.
